The Heart of the Yukon | Hiking-Canoe Tour Wind-River (22 Days)

The Heart of the Yukon: Wind River

The Wind River is renowned for its remote beauty, hiking and whitewater for the intermediate canoeist. The headwaters of the Wind are only accessible by float plane , and the legendary Beaver or Otter aircraft takes us through the spectacular Bonnet Plume Range of the northern Yukon into McClusky Lake.

Here we are about to start a challenging journey down this clear and narrow river. With alpine campsites alongside the river, easy hikes, many panoramic vistas are guaranteed. Seeing grizzly, wolf, dall sheep, caribou, and moose are all possibilities.
