I spent a happy childhood right in the center of the Continental U.S.A.  My family enjoyed camping and travel, so my adventurous spirit was ignighted at a young age. I came to Alaska after college, and knew immediately this was "home" for me.  My husband and I met in Anchorage, and we have raised our 2 sons here.  Everyday I feel lucky to live someplace so beautiful and always full of breath taking surprises.  My hobbies include flower and bird identification, and I am always up for a hike into these beautiful mountains that fill me with peace.  My travels as an adult have taken me to all 50 of the United States, all of Canada's Provinces, and to 20 different countries world wide.  Some of my travels have been with a guide, so I understand first hand the impact a guide has on the experience a visitor may have.  It is such a joy for me to be able to share this north country I love so much with visitors.
