Position: Tour Guide
Scott is passionate about wilderness travel, particularly paddling Canada's wild, northern rivers. With nine years leading multi-day canoeing, backpacking, sea kayaking and winter camping expeditions, Scott is no stranger to life on the trail.
Scott is a certified canoe instructor, Swiftwater Rescue Technician and Wilderness First Responder. He has graduated from a college Outdoor Recreation program, and has bachelor degrees in Environmental Studies and Education.
Scott has worked as an outdoor guide and educator for a variety of companies over the last decade, including four years as an Outward Bound Instructor and five summers guiding canoe trips. Whether leading canoe trips in the Arctic, working with youth in the Australian bush, teaching high school in Nunavut, dogsledding in Algonquin Park or tramping in New Zealand, Scott loves to share his passion for the outdoors.
Scott looks forward to returning to guide with Ruby Range, traveling in the Yukon's spectacular landscape in the land of the midnight sun.
