Position: Canoe Guide
Fridtjof Nansen is my biggest ideal. He said that:” Being on tour and in nature gives you complete physical and mental recovery”. The quality of life and the well being of oneself are much higher if you have the possibility to go outside into the nature. During my studies (physical education with main subject in and rehabilitation) I made a Degree in Outdoor Education (friluftsliv) in Norway to improve my skills in geology, biology and guiding. After working in schools as a teacher, as a therapist with cancer and heart disease patients and a season as a guide in Whithorse, I decided to go back to the “Larger than Life” Territory into the vast and gorgeous surrounding. As a girl from the Upper Austrian Highlands, my qualities are that I am a good mooded companion on tours and that I love to share my passion and knowledge of the beautiful and historical land of the Yukon.
