Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in Whitehorse
Welcome to Whitehorse, capital of the Yukon. Your guide will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your downtown hotel. After settling in at the Hyatt, we’ll review the itinerary and ensure you have all the winter gear needed to enjoy your stay in comfort.

Day 2: Winter Wilderness & Hot Springs
After breakfast, direction our first outdoor activity: a scenic snowmobile ride across snowy trails and frozen lakes. Midway, we’ll take a break to enjoy sausages grilled over an open fire and warm drinks.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, where you’ll observe moose, caribou, muskox and other iconic northern species in their natural environment.
We’ll end the day with a relaxing soak in the soothing waters of the Takhini Hot Springs.
In the evening, we return to the snowmobiles for a Northern Lights ride under the stars, a magical way to witness the aurora borealis.

Day 3: Ice Fishing & Aurora Hunt
Today is dedicated to two authentic Yukon experiences.
In the morning, we ride snowmobiles to a remote frozen lake. Once there, we’ll settle into a heated tent, where you can drill a hole through the ice and try your hand at catching Arctic Grayling, Rainbow Trout, or Lake Trout.
If luck is on our side, we’ll enjoy a fresh fish lunch right on the ice, a simple yet unforgettable northern experience.
In the evening, we go aurora hunting by van, traveling across the quiet backroads of the Yukon to find the best possible spot to view the northern lights in all their glory.

Day 4: Mushing, Mountains & More Aurora
After breakfast, we head west on the Alaska Highway toward Haines Junction, with stunning views of the St. Elias Mountains unfolding along the way.
On the way, we stop for an unforgettable dog sledding adventure. Pulled by a team of enthusiastic huskies, you’ll experience a traditional mode of travel that’s deeply rooted in Yukon culture.
In the afternoon, we continue to Kathleen Lake for a scenic snowshoe hike surrounded by towering peaks and deep wilderness.
After returning to Whitehorse for dinner, we end the day with one last aurora snowmobile ride, chasing the northern lights under the vast northern sky.

Day 5 : Departure Whitehorse
After breakfast, Ruby Range Adventure will provide a transfer to the airport or your next program.
